Week 20: Connect an API to an App Builder Frontend

App Builder lets you quickly drag and drop frontend UIs, but did you know that it can also easily connect to APIs?

By creating a Resource, you can send API requests from App Builder to any REST, GraphQL, or 8base Backend API. After that, it’s simple to use the Resource in your Frontend to display data. This can be done in just a few minutes, and it’s a great way to get data from an external source into your app.

Resources are quickly configured in your editor’s “Resources” tab. It’s a very straightforward process requiring only a few fields of information or a single click to connect to an 8base backend.

If you have questions about this, definitely ask them in the 8base Community!

Happy Developing!
