Is there a way to view the data from an environment backup rather than restore it?

Hey Jason, as we discussed earlier, there is the way to see backup data by creating separate environment and upload snapshot there, this way it will not affect your master or other branches data/schema.
But i sent your question to our developers to make 100% sure.

No, it’s not possible to extract data from backup file, moreover we can’t pass data or files directly to users.
So you have two ways here:

  1. Create new environment from master and backup it.
  2. Create backup from your current master, backup it to previous state (we will help), backup it back when you done with reviewing.
