SVGs in admin media uploader throws error

I’m testing out storing SVG images via the media data type. When uploading a SVG via the 8base Your Tables > Data admin interface I get this error:

An error occured while uploading “somefilename.svg”: “undefined”.

Are SVGs not supported?

Yes, I can confirm SVG upload is working via the 8base console. Thank you.
